The full story

From the classroom to the clinic.

A career in teaching, coaching, practice ownership, and emergency medicine shapes the way Dr. Eli listens and leads.

Dr. Eli believes good veterinary medicine begins with getting to know the people and animals who come through the door.

Before becoming a veterinarian, Eli worked as a juvenile probation officer and taught middle school math while his wife, Cassi, attended veterinary school. He also coached softball, an early chapter in a lifelong love of helping others grow.

Shortly after graduating from LSU’s veterinary school, Eli and Cassi bought their first practice in Seminole, Oklahoma. They later bought and grew a mixed animal practice in Holdenville, which they sold to focus on Seminole. Eli and Cassi own a small animal hospital in Seminole, Oklahoma. Eli went on to serve hospitals as a relief veterinarian and became Animal Emergency and Surgical Center Medical Director.

His experience spans general practice, large and small animals, emergency care, surgery, practice ownership, and the business of veterinary medicine. He cares deeply about helping veterinarians at every career stage rediscover their passion for serving others.

Outside work, Eli coaches his sons Conner and Caden, spends time with Cassi, plays golf, works out, and follows the Chicago Cubs and LSU sports.
